Let’s face it. Most people are visual when it comes to seeking a companion. That means we’re searching for people that we’re physically attracted to. Dating sites and apps pretty much confirm that theory. However, men are typically more visual than their female counterparts. Whether you’re straight or gay, the bottom line is that most men are attracted to someone’s outward appearance first and then their personality. Some women can be attracted to a man’s personality first and then become attracted to him physically later (sometimes a nice checking account helps, but I’ll save that story for another issue.) That’s not to say that men are shallow or anything; it just means that we don’t want to get to know you romantically until we like what we see physically. Okay, so we are kind of shallow, but that’s just how we’re wired. Beauty gets our attention and great personality keeps our attention. Nonetheless, beauty is skin deep and very subjective. As you can imagine, when I surveyed men about what makes a woman’s body sexy, I received many different answers. Some guys like their women tall and thin, while others prefer them short and curvy. Attractiveness is truly in the eye of the beholder. However, I did see some commonalities when it came to certain aspects of a woman’s body as it correlates to their sexiness.
