Jackie Minchillo is a freelance writer and public relations consultant. A native of Michigan, USA, Jackie now lives in Playa Langosta, Costa Rica with her Husband and their “famous” surfing dog, Harvey. On a quest for true freedom, a life that doesn’t require vacation, but embraces it and a level of simplicity that allows life’s truest joys to shine - she left behind an agency career, and sold all of her belongings to see the world long before retirement. She has a double bachelor’s degree in public relations and broadcast journalism from Central Michigan University. Jennifer Lomax is a native Californian, who currently lives near Sun Valley, Idaho. Jennifer enjoys snowboarding, horseback riding, yoga and running. She has worked in internet technology for over 25 years. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012 and applied the same creative problem solving to surviving cancer as she did to the rest of her career. She discovered that younger cancer patients have a unique voice that is seldom heard and often stifled.
