Spiced Apple Cider Mimosa

Ingredients:

2 cups apple cider

1 cup champagne or sparkling wine (you can also use sparkling cider for a non-alcoholic version)

1/4 cup orange liqueur (e.g., Grand Marnier or Cointreau)

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Cinnamon sugar (for rimming the glasses)

Apple slices or orange twists (for garnish)

Directions:

Rim the Champagne Flutes:

On a small plate, pour some cinnamon sugar.

Moisten the rims of the champagne flutes with a small amount of water or a slice of apple.

Gently dip the moistened rims into the cinnamon sugar to coat them.

Mix the Spiced Apple Cider:

In a pitcher or a mixing bowl, combine the apple cider, orange liqueur, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and ground cloves.

Stir the mixture well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.

Assemble the Mimosas:

Pour the spiced apple cider mixture into the prepared champagne flutes, filling them about one-third full.

Top with Champagne or Sparkling Wine:

Carefully top off each glass with champagne or sparkling wine. Pour it slowly to prevent excessive bubbling.

Give it a gentle stir to mix the flavors without losing the effervescence.

Garnish:

Add a slice of apple or a twist of orange peel to each glass for a decorative touch.

Serve:

Serve your spiced apple cider mimosas immediately while they are still fizzy and refreshing.
