any moons ago, I’m sure
many folks living in Fort
Lauderdale visited Pier 66,
the 360 revolving rooftop restaurant/lounge. But now the infamous landmark is unveiling something new.
Pier 66, a 50-year-old iconic symbol on the intracoastal waterway, is being transformed into an ultraluxury waterfront destination at the Gateway to the Venice of the Americas.
The reimaged 32-acre location will have a collection of 91 residences with priceless water views and balcony splash pools for the largest yachting community in the world. There will be a 10-story condo building and a 5-story building with villa residences. Owners will enjoy privileged access to the resort and immediate access to the promenade featuring restaurants, shops and ample dockage space for superyachts at the marina.
Amenities will include multiple pools, spa, gym, yoga space, club room, kids club and more.
Yachts up to 400 feet can be accommodated. In total there will be seven restaurants,
164 boat slips and 30,000 square feet of commercial space.
The residences range from two to five bedrooms and prices start at about $3.3 million. The best part is that these brand-new waterfront residences will be ready for move-in starting
the first quarter of 2024.
