going to actually eat the food on your plate, you’re just going to think about it. At least for a few moments. If you have a regular meditation practice, you probably have already experienced mindful eating. But for many, this is a foreign concept. I am definitely guilty of eating my lunch at my desk while working, or standing in the kitchen talking on the phone while snacking. In both instances, there are frequent moments where I reach for the next piece only to realize it’s gone. Where did that last piece go? That’s mindless eating.
