Fall in my part of the world is always a bittersweet time for many. It means the playful sunny fun of summer is over and the hint of chill in the air is a reminder that Midwest winter is just around the corner. But it also is an exciting time for fashion internationally with runway shows in New York, Paris and Milan. As a season changes, so do we. This month, I took the advice of our skincare expert contributor Diane Condon and "deplaned" my face to slough off the summer sun's damage to my face from trips to Mexico, Thailand and, as you will read in my two contributions this month, my inaugural trip to Burning Man. I love the sun and enjoying time outside, but it does do a number on my skin. Thanks to her masterful skills, my skin is glowing, smooth and fresh. Now to heed our other expert's advice and update my look with a few fashion must-haves. I'm sure to have animal print somewhere in my closet!
