or me, some recipes just resonate the

start of autumn. I love making special meals for family and friends to ring in the official start to the holiday season. My recipe for chicken pot pie is a crowd favorite that can be a nice Sunday family dinner or served for a chic mid-week dinner party.

Making individual sized pies is like a

warm embrace that is

effortless, once

you see my shortcuts to

creating this beautiful

meal that I serve with a

peppery arugula salad

with shaved parmesan

and a lemon olive oil vinaigrette. I also suggest enjoying a good Cotes Du Rhone wine to open and cheers yourself when you start cooking. Then I suggest maybe shift to my favorite fall cocktail, the Old Fashioned, post dinner and enjoy being still and content after a great meal. Because before you know it, we jump from Halloween to Christmas in a minute..
