Taking the contrasting colors from the two-tone cabinetry one step further, contrasting textures will be big when planning your kitchen remodel. Consider pairing light mirrored backsplashes with chunky marble (or marble like quartz) countertops. In one of our most recent kitchen remodel, Lux Design Group is mixing textures by using a polished chrome inlay that is integrated into a lacquered frame around maple stained drawer base cabinets, using these three different finishes to create one united piece.

Taking a traditional twist on the common modern kitchens, we will see a much larger presence of raw materials, for example, exposed wood, stone, and shiplap material. Continuing on with introducing more raw materials in the kitchen,

organic leather drawer pulls will

dominate in the kitchen.

Consider using these pulls in

small doses, such as on an

island or a hutch to bring

warmth to your kitchen in a

subtle yet impactful way!

Integrated appliances will

continue to make a strong

presence in the kitchen. We are

seeing less and less of exposed

stainless-steel refrigerators and

range hoods. With advancing

technology, we are seeing

slimmer range hoods that fit

into wall cabinets which create

a streamlined and sleek look.

Induction cook tops are a trend

that continues to remain

popular because of their

seamless look. The idea of

concealing and minimizing the

look of bulky appliances has

become the new look of luxury

in a kitchen.
