Palak
Patel
The saying goes “It’s never too late to follow your dreams.” Chef Palak Patel fits that bill perfectly. The inspirational chef spent many years in corporate America before deciding to leave her 9 to 5 gig to pursue a culinary career. Palak started her career moonlighting as a personal chef in 2006 and later completed her initial training with the acclaimed Culinary Business Academy of the United States Personal Chef Institute in San Francisco. She eventually enrolled and earned her culinary degree from the prestigious French Culinary Institute in New York. She worked in the south of France to perfect her techniques and now specializes in creating personalized, innovative menus and elegant catered affairs for clients ranging from small dinner parties to Fortune 1000 events. Chef Palak has an Indian background and is destined to be one of the world’s culinary stars gaining critical acclaim from victories in famed shows like Chopped and Beat Bobby Flay on Food Network. The more I learned about this talented but relatively new chef to the industry, the more eager I am to taste her cuisine.
