There are not too many things as subjective as food. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes and what may taste fabulous to you could be disgusting to someone else. However, there are certain chefs who have a reputation for being consistently on point with their cuisine. Chef Rodelio Aglibot is that chef. His culinary creations have always put a smile on my face and many others since he was introduced as the Executive Chef of a trendy popular Chicago restaurant in 2007. Born in the Philippines, but raised in Hawaii, there is no coincidence that Chef Aglibot has risen to greater heights since his first attempt at cooking in his treehouse as young boy. His experience, work ethic, accolades and passion for cooking is reflected in his food. He is a celebrity chef in his own right, having traveled the world cooking, gaining experience and eventually hosting his own TV show on TLC called “The Food Buddha”. He has since opened several successful restaurants in the U.S. and recently expanded his brand to another continent. As we talked about his accomplishments and future, I was excited to learn more about him as chef and entrepreneur.
