The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas

PartySlate Profile

The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas often choose to incorporate sweets into their events. From Boston crème doughnuts to lemon stations, the sweet island cuisine appeals to many. The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas promotes their tropical cocktails and urges hosts and couples to have a specialty cocktail, like their famous Painkiller, at their event.

Lemon Break

Themed breaks and receptions are always really fun, and this lemon one is as bright and aesthetically appealing as it is delicious. The all-lemon-flavored station includes fresh lemonade, meringues, macaroons, small pies, popsicles and various candies.

Boston Crème Doughnuts

There are few things better than fresh doughnuts. Chef Bri wanted to incorporate this childhood memory into her desserts, so she created the Boston crème doughnut. They’re filled with vanilla pastry cream glazed with chocolate and are perfect on a dessert buffet or as a late-night snack for guests.

The Painkiller

The Painkiller is a rum cocktail that was invented in the British Virgin Islands, just a short boat ride from our resort. They’re made with dark rum, pineapple juice, orange juice and coconut cream, then topped with fresh nutmeg. We encourage brides to have a live cocktail station with the bartender making these to order, or it can be used as a signature cocktail.
