Rely On Your Heart To Guide Your Mind
The root of all thoughts begin in your heart. The heart is like a never-ending fountain. It flows endlessly because it is always replenished. Flood your heart with love, and that love will overflow into the mind. The heart and mind will work together to create a sanctuary for your thoughts that is pure and focused. If you let the heart control your mind, your thoughts will become powerful and work to achieve your greatest potential.
Train Your Thoughts To Be Positive
Our thoughts affect everything in our life. By changing the way you speak to yourself (or about yourself) you will change your life and your experiences. All you have to do is change your thoughts to have a positive outlook. For instance, “I feel great today”, instead of; “I’m so glad I don’t feel bad today”. It may mean the same thing to you, but the subconscious mind does not know the difference between positive and negative thoughts. Your mind will work to give you whatever you are thinking. If you can discipline your mind to work in a positive way, the experiences that you have will reflect your thinking and you will attract more happiness and love into your life than you thought was possible.
Be Thankful
You can achieve anything in life and deserve everything in abundance. By being thankful for everything around you, you will begin to attract more of the things that you are grateful for.
By trusting that everything happens for a greater reason or purpose, you will find that you only attract experiences that will reflect that positivity and gratefulness.
Positive Affirmations
Speak to yourself as if you were speaking to someone whom you admire very much. Have respect for yourself and treat yourself the way you would want to be treated by others. Be your own biggest fan and constantly feed yourself genuine compliments. Your mind thrives off of compliments and encouragement. Just make sure that your words are always pure and genuine.
Set Positive Goals For Yourself
Try your best to not drift through life. You can work hard at anything, but if you don’t have a direction and purpose for yourself, it is like you are paddling upstream, or even worse, in a circle! Working with a purpose is a gift and freedom that we can (and should) take advantage of. There are no rules to setting goals and every single person in the world has a different idea of what makes them feel fulfilled or successful. The first step towards setting goals is defining what your personal goals are. If you are truly healthy in your thoughts you crave experiences that make a positive impact on your life. Goals are created by your dreams and if you can dream it, you can achieve it.
Meditation
Today, we are constantly moving and creating new experiences that make it difficult to stay present and centered in each moment. It's important to let your mind rest and center itself at least once a day. By slowing our thoughts down we become aware of all of the wonderful things life has to offer. Start by giving yourself ten to fifteen minutes a day to focus on breathing. It will revitalize your mind and will enable you to be present in the moment. If you are peaceful within, you will attract peace around you.
Thoughts can (and do!) change the world. Every single one of us has the ability to take control of our own mind and change the world in a positive way. It takes focus, practice and a constant upkeep to maintain a healthy mind with pure and positive thinking. Seeing the world through a positive lens will help you enjoy life to the fullest and see the good in everything.
