When you think about the future of women in business, leadership, and wellness, what do you most hope the next generation of women no longer have to fight for?

I hope they write their own playbooks. I hope they deeply value intellectual curiosity, integrity, self-respect, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and hard work. I hope they remain lifelong students of both life and themselves.

For so long, many women were governed by “shoulds”, as in, expectations around who they should be, how they should lead, how they should look, how they should juggle life, and what they should prioritize. Those narratives still exist in many ways and it seems more and more are becoming more comfortable with challenging that. I know I certainly do and find great joy in pushing those limits. Many people thought having 3 children while building and opening BIÂN was insane or impossible...but it has been one of the greatest challenges and in turn, growth experiences in my life.

Ultimately, your life becomes the accumulation of your choices. I hope future generations feel deeply empowered to make those choices consciously and to genuinely like the lives they are building. I highly encourage everyone to audit their choices at any point in their life.

To me, the future of leadership is not about becoming harder. It is about expanding our capability while remaining deeply connected to who we truly are and becoming the living example of what is possible when we do.
