BA: Being a Millennial Mom, it is one of my greatest aspirations to contribute to a world where our youth have the knowledge and tools to make our world better. It is my hope that through Anderson’s League of Leaders, the youth that we serve can learn what it truly means to be set apart as a leader and take the resources we’ve shared with them back to their own communities, striving to make significant change.

BA: As the wife of a professional athlete, there is a very small window of privacy that I’m able to enjoy with my family. These days, pretty much everything is considered click bait. With all of this, my goal as a wife and mother is to protect my family by controlling what I can control. This means being cautious with what information is made public and to never overshare on the internet. I do not share locations, and I do not post on my social media in “real time.” By doing this, I can protect my children from a safety and mental health standpoint. In our home, my husband and I have grown adamant on giving our children “a seat at the table,” where we have many raw conversations with them about how to handle outside opinions. We teach them the very real differences between living in the real world and the digital world.
