ight now, at the age of 21, I am in the stage of life where it seems like everyone is getting proposed to or getting married. It’s interesting to see people you went to high school with devote the rest of their lives to one person, while I can hardly devote myself to dinner plans. And with that being said, I see so many people my age, my friends included, that are so caught up in the idea of being in a relationship, even if it’s unhealthy. The reason? They “can’t be alone”. They worry that if they lose one relationship they will never be able to find another and being alone is worse than being with someone who is bad for you.
