Tessea Antonis-Parr is a self-taught painter from Baltimore, Maryland. Tessea studied a double major at Towson University in International Studies and Community Health. Spending her early years growing up in Africa, her artistic process began as a child during frequent excursions to rural African villages and marketplaces. Her first series of paintings focused on original portrait sketches of children she taught while working in an Orphanage in Ethiopia. Tessea employs gray scale to emote art in a contemporary realistic manner. Unexpected Art & Decor celebrated Tessea’s unprecedented sold out collection following an art show in April 2015. She is currently a resident artist at School 33 Art Space working on her collection.
Stephanie Bryant is an Oncology Sales Manager for a leading Biotech company by day and aspiring free-lance writer by night. A certified wanderlust spirit and art junkie Stephanie indulges in solo global travel with a healthy fascination with all things arts and culture and has instilled the same values into her college age daughter. She is currently penning the memoir of her mother who was the First African American to win a national tennis title at the age of 13 and feels the process has become a labor of love, exploration and discovery.
