special bond, because Baba represented much more than a grandma to me. My childhood was anything but typical. Yet growing up with a Mother diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, even with all of the sadness and drama, allowed me the gift of living with my Grandma.

At 97, Baba still has more friends than anyone I know. Even though she has absolutely no idea what that or the Internet is, she is a Facebook sensation. Each time I visit her, we begin with a few "selfies," and she cracks up laughing when she sees us in the phone. She's still getting the hang of what a "selfie" is, or that my cell phone can actually take video of her. In addition to being ridiculously funny, her bravery and positive outlook on life have always inspired me, Baba herself is a reminder for me to take advantage of opportunities she never had, see possibilities instead of only obstacles, and to to look at the funny side of things when things don't go according to plan.

Baba Boja is my Hero, and a testament to how one person can completely change another person's life for the better. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Baba Boja. I love you always and forever.
