the dating world with the enthusiasm of a rookie and the naiveté of being 26 again. I was frozen in time while the world had moved forward. Apps ran the show. Despite that realization, I was excited to embrace everything that I had missed. Turns out, I’d missed quite a lot…Dating had changed. The rules had changed. And apparently, so had the language people speak in bed.

I’m talking about bedroom language—the way people communicate once have they passed that test to move beyond just the cocktails and possibly a dinner.

Hosting the Slut in Training podcast while navigating my own post-divorce dating life has given me a front-row seat to the journey of dating and relationships, learning from guests like the Open Marriage Guy, Mile High Club to a Los Angeles Sex Therapist.

What I’ve learned is this: most people aren’t bad at dirty talk because they’re boring. They’re bad at it because they don’t ask questions.

The truth is much simpler.
