who shape and

inspire us, we often picture partners, mentors, or public figures. But for me, that inspiration lives much closer to home. My son Tyler, at just 18, represents a new kind of young man—ambitious, emotionally aware, and deeply connected to the people around him. Watching him grow has reshaped not only my understanding of success, but also what it means to raise a son in today’s world.

Tyler is a natural entrepreneur. While still studying, he’s already running multiple businesses, approaching each one with a mix of curiosity and determination that continually amazes me. He doesn’t see work as a burden but as an opportunity to create and build. As someone who works in writing and style, I recognize that same creative drive—the willingness to take an idea and give it form. Our conversations often blur the lines between mother and mentor, because inspiration flows both ways.

Yet what makes Tyler truly special isn’t just his ambition; it’s his heart. He is the most family-oriented person I know. The love he shows his sisters—protective, patient, and playful—reminds me that emotional intelligence is one of the greatest strengths a young man can have. He’s comfortable expressing care, and that openness feels like a hopeful sign of how masculinity is evolving.
