Apps like Flo and Clue have changed the game for understanding our cycles. Clue tracks medications, supplements, pre-existing conditions—things we don't always connect to our cycles. It brings together factors we might not realize are affecting us and puts a name to what we're feeling. When Clue pinpoints I'm feeling withdrawn or argumentative, (Clue does nothing to win said argument), it reminds me I'm not inherently a jerk—it's just a phase of my cycle.

If you're in perimenopause or menopause, tech is finally catching up. The Embr Wave 2 provides relief for hot flashes, and at CES 2025, Peri launched to track perimenopause symptoms in real-time. For so long, women had no clue why they were suddenly exhausted or dealing with night sweats—because we hadn't hit menopause yet, but something was shifting. Now, there's a level of awareness that never existed before.

Having all this information is amazing, but it doesn't change anything unless we use it. AI and wearables give us insights, but it's up to us to make adjustments.

The biggest shift in health right now is that we no longer follow generic advice—we have real, personalized data in our hands. The key question is: Now that I know this, how will I use it to improve my life?

The true innovation isn't AI—it's us. Without us, it's just like an idea on paper.
