1.Appreciation for their efforts and accomplishments. Appreciation for the little things they do… both big and small
2.Emotional and physical intimacy and affection. Everyone needs it, but men need to know you want, desire them and care.
3.Understanding and patience. Everyone goes through hard times; we need to give men a bit of grace and understanding through those stressful moments.
4.Respect their boundaries and provide them with space when needed. Sometimes men need to take time and work things out on their own. Give them that space they need to deal with their emotions and stress.
5.Support. Be there with a shoulder to lean and cry on.
6.Encouragement with their goals and passions. Be their biggest cheerleader and give them your support to pursue their passions and dreams.
7.Communication that is open and honest. Listen to their thoughts and feelings. Ask about what they are going through. Sometimes men have a hard time opening up about their feelings, help them feel like you are a safe place that they can be vulnerable with.
8.Surprises that are thoughtful gestures. Send them a random, “How’s your day going, I miss you or I love you” text to let them know you’re thinking about them.
9.Love and respect. Treat them with kindness, integrity, and honesty.
10.Quality time together doing things they enjoy doing. Plan things together, enjoy each other’s company, laugh, and love each other every day.
