In my part of the world the first day of spring is just around the corner. A time of changing seasons; from the brutal arctic chill of winter, to milder days waiting for the rain to come. Thankfully, I spent much of this winter living and working in sunny Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. A land of exciting culture, flavors and beauty. There is a constant energy that contradicts the relaxing vibe of vacation. Every day there are new people, new experiences, and if you’re lucky, even a new whale or dolphin sighting (a favorite of mine). So it seems natural to want to share our contributors’ take on what excites them.
All around the world there are women making tremendous contributions in the area of art, music, film and life. This March, we recognize just a few of these truly dynamic individuals. And while it is a gift to witness genius and greatness in others, it is just as important to notice and nurture the gifts you alone possess. We so often covet another’s life, loves or possessions, without realizing the goodness within. If you haven’t lately, take a moment to appreciate who you are and notice your own everyday contributions that help make the world just a little more dynamic simply because you’re in it.
