The RISE Society welcomed the Gentlemen and Ladies of Centre Court to an extraordinary, Wimbledon-inspired fashion gala honoring the next generation of champions that featured Robin Roberts, co-anchor of Good Morning America, Peabody Award recipient, The New York Times bestselling author, and inductee of the Women's Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame.
Hosted by Jasmine Minor, ABC 7 Chicago Emmy Award-winning journalist, and a member of the only family in history with three Black women to compete in Division I collegiate tennis, The RISE Society Affair generates vital support for the Kevin Minor Legacy Fund in partnership with the USTA Midwest Tennis & Education Foundation.
This signature evening transformed Chicago into the elegance of Centre Court, uniting leaders around one powerful belief: Support women in sport. Win the future.
The evening included, a grand red-carpet arrival as the Gentlemen and Ladies of Centre Court made their entrance in championship style, a cocktail welcome reception worthy of the Royal Box, a curated fashion experience inspired by the timeless tradition of Wimbledon style, an intimate fireside conversation with Robin Roberts, and stories from the young athletes.
