dating and you meet someone that you are enjoying getting to know, the next big step may be to go on a trip. Whenever a client calls me and tells me they are planning a trip with the one they are dating, I know it’s getting pretty serious. When is too soon to take a trip? I suggest three to four months of exclusively dating would be a good time to travel with them. First off, it takes your relationship to phase 2 and that is a great way to see if your new relationship is ready to move to the next level. Can you survive the first trip? Don’t stress about it too much. Enjoy yourself and have fun, it’s a vacation for goodness sake. Exploring and traveling can bring you closer together. You can also see how someone lives, how they are under stressful situations, like getting lost, and their true colors are often revealed.
