always appreciate when I’m pleasantly surprised by the unexpected. Whether it’s watching and being blown away by a movie that I never heard of, finding a hidden gem of a restaurant in the city I know so well, or vacationing at an amazing little-known resort, the unforeseen is always exhilarating. Although those moments are few and far between, I was thrilled when my wife and I recently discovered Publishing House, a new and spectacular spot in Chicago that just may be the best bed and breakfast in the world. Or at least Kimberly and Shawn, husband and wife owners, want it to become known as the best Bed and Breakfast in North America as they strive to leave people rested, well fed and inspired.
