Fete Lifestyle Magazine June 2016 - Travel Issue | Page 3

In light of all of the tragedies that are going on in this world, it seems like the world is becoming more dangerous by the day. The evil that consumes us daily wants us to become fearful of living our lives. However, that evil will never win and we MUST continue to move forward and live the lives that we have set out to live. I recently traveled to Orlando, FL with my family over Spring Break and had an amazing time in a city that is known for hosting millions of visitors each year. I would have never thought that such tragedy and sadness would take place in a town where Disney World, Legoland, Epcot, and Magic Kingdom promotes happiness. But that is the world that we live in now and nothing is off limits. The small percentage of people that want to do us harm will always want to do harm and nothing will stop them. But it’s up to the majority of us; the good people of the world to continue to stand up against them as one and try to counteract that harm with diligence and resilience.

We dedicate this month’s FLM travel issue to those people around the world that have lost their lives to senseless acts of violence, which was ignited by hatred. Those folks that were simply living and enjoying their lives in Paris, Tel Aviv, Istanbul, San Bernardino, Charleston, Philadelphia, and Orlando (victims pictured above) to name just a few, because there are many, many more. We stand with you, remember you and will continue to celebrate you and your lifestyle. Our FLM contributors have highlighted many ways for us to continue living the best life that we can as we embark on the season of travel. I hope this month’s issue resonates with you like no other. Enjoy and God Bless the good people of the world.
