Outdoor living has become an extension of the home. What are some of the most exciting trends you're seeing in outdoor entertaining—from kitchens and dining areas to pools, gardens, and wellness spaces?

Outdoor living has become just as thoughtfully designed as the interior. In Chicago especially, homeowners want to maximize every beautiful day we have.

I'm seeing incredible outdoor kitchens, covered dining spaces, fireplaces, televisions, rooftop gardens, plunge pools, pickleball courts, and wellness inspired retreats with cold plunges and saunas. My favorite trend is creating outdoor rooms that feel intimate. Beautiful landscaping, comfortable furniture, layered lighting, and music can completely transform an outdoor space into somewhere you never want to leave.

Luxury today seems to be shifting from "having more" to "living better." Shre your definition of how luxury changed after touring some of Chicago's most extraordinary homes.

The homes that stay with me aren't necessarily the ones with the highest price tags, they're the ones that feel effortless.

Luxury today is waking up to natural light, having enough space to entertain the people you love, beautiful craftsmanship that stands the test of time, thoughtful storage that simplifies daily life, and a home that brings a sense of peace the moment you walk through the door.

I've learned that true luxury isn't about excess. It's about quality, comfort, and creating an environment that makes everyday life feel extraordinary.
