In the early months of 2020 as countries began closing borders and implementing social quarantine measures, like most of the world, my mind ran wild with horror stories of the future. It was hard to find any balance, to connect with others for emotional support, or to know if this was the new normal, then how should I adjust? I found that even though I had less places to physically be and more time for side projects or checking off books on my to-read list, in the first weeks of the pandemic I felt like I had entered a sort of twilight-zone. Days passed by with my mind either diving into a deep state of depression or spending countless hours skimming through articles and headlines about the pandemic. I knew something had to change.
