e all have goals and
ambitions in the
New Year. Let’s take
this precious life we have and make the very best of it. Make ourselves happy and fulfilled every single day and conquer all our goals.
Make plans for things you want to do for you; trips, adventures, being around people that lift you up. Make goals for what you want to do for you, and make it happen. Things will not just come to you; you need to make them happen.
Make the changes you want to see in your life. New job, new home, new friends, a new significant other. You want to find someone, get out there and do it. Dating apps, use a matchmaker, go out to areas where you might bump into someone new. Always be up for meeting someone new, say yes to invites and getting out into your community.
Think positive; having a positive mindset is so attractive to everyone around you. Do your best to be a positive light in the world, I do believe it will come across to those around you. Being positive will also bring you more happiness and good energy into your life.
Helping others and giving back helps your community and in turn helps our mental wellbeing. Find an organization that is dear to you and join the board or donate time to help that organization. It is so rewarding to help others and giving back will give you a bigger purpose on this earth.
Make plans for trips and having adventures while being with people that you enjoy being around. Plan trips with significant others, friends, and or family. Planning and being excited about upcoming events helps us to look forward to something.
Pick up a hobby, something you are interested in, let’s give it a go. Tennis, golf, skiing, pickleball, bowling, softball league, yoga, Pilates and meditation. You’ve been wanting to get into something new, there’s no time like the present.
Working out, and getting a trainer was the best thing I could have done for myself. They push you and you will get a better workout in an hour than you could do in four hours at the gym by yourself. Other activities you can do to get healthy and fit, are biking, hiking, taking a walk-in nature, bike rides with your kids, walking your dogs. Eat healthier, start with reducing the amount of carb intake, little by little your body will start to show a change. Its not easy but it is worth it.
Take pride in your appearance hair, wardrobe and makeup. Take pride in your whole self and go out of the house everyday ready to take on the world. If you look good, you will feel good. Confidence is a very attractive attribute, and you can sustain it by taking pride in your appearance, your body, and your attitude.
Finally, make time for the people you love. Show them you care by making an effort to be with them and going out of your way to show them you care. Date nights, outings, dinners, travel, and spending quality time with your loved ones.
