BIÂN in Chinese means to transform and that’s exactly what the concept is about. Once a member joins, they are immediately connected with someone to learn more about who they are. Kelly Moore is on the Advisory Board and her goal is to get to know BIÂN members. “Some members know what they want and some don’t. We find an access point to get them involved with BIÂN. How to support them inside and out,” she said. The demographic make up of their members are equally aged in their 30,’s 40’s and 50’s. Moore creates a customized plan for their wellness goals and have quarterly meetings with each member. As a yoga and Pilates instructor she helps connect the dots with physical training. Moore describes BIÂN as a collaborative experience.

BIÂN is not a just a health club, it was built purposely to engage a thriving, diverse community who seek wellness of mind and body as the path to leading a fulfilling life. Dr. Avanti Kumar-Singh is the BIÂN Ayurveda Director. She is the host of the popular podcast called The Healing Catalyst and the author of The Health Catalyst. She describes BIÂN as “harmony”. Harmony of ancient healing and modern medicine. She explains, “When we live in harmony with nature, we will have optimal health and a vibrant life.” Dr. Avanti focuses on 3 tools of practice which are, routines, a diet (that includes everything in life and not just food), and tools of yoga. She helps members to understand how to access these things that BIÂN offers.
