Celebrating women, the Critics’ Choice Awards presented the #SeeHer Award to Claire Foy, an actress who represents strength in her characters. And following along the theme of women, thanks to a tie in two major categories, Best Actress for film and television, women demonstrated how they lift one another in this industry. Amy Adams and Patricia Arquette shared the stage as well as Glenn Close and Lady Gaga and both sets of women received a standing ovation for their words of wisdom, strength, and encouragement to one another. Quite surprisingly, this is the first time in the history of the Critics’ Choice awards to have a tie in any category let alone two.
