Fete Lifestyle Magazine January 2017 New Beginnings Issue | Page 5

I would like to dedicate this issue to my dear friend and FLM contributor Dena Mendes who passed away recently after a long battle with cancer. After beating cancer several times throughout her life, by using natural remedies and treatments, Dena dedicated her life to educate everyone about what we should and should not put in our bodies. She was passionate and relentless about helping to “fix” others with different diseases and ailments and made sure that she practiced what she preached. Her articles were interesting and eye opening, which resonated with many of our readers. She was proud that she had previously won the battle against such a dreadful disease, which made her more confident and stronger. She was always positive and was laser focused on what she wanted to do and where she wanted to be. I’m sure that her spirit continues to live on in the many lives that she’s helped and inspired during her journey. Dena will be missed by me and her FLM family.

This month FLM celebrates our two-year anniversary and it’s remarkable where we’ve come from to where we are now. FLM has published over 24 consecutive issues, reached hundreds of thousands of readers and subscribers in over 50 different countries, and partnered with great lifestyle brands like BMW. This year we’re positioned to achieve bigger and better things, as we expand our contributors and tackle new topics, and work with great lifestyle brands.

However, to start, our new January issue is about “new beginnings”. We feature NY Times bestselling author Nicole Lapin, as she lends her financial expertise on money and lifestyle. Also, get tips on beauty, health, life, and spirit. Learn how to navigate your way through the Sundance Film Festival, if you’re heading to Park City Utah this month. The Oscars are right around the corner and our resident film critic makes her predictions. Checkout our video and photo recap from our holiday celebration as we closed out 2016 with a bang. We’re looking to continue the celebration throughout 2017 and we hope you come along for the ride. Enjoy this month’s issue and thank for reading FLM.
