The fruit marinated in the alcohol for 24 hours, which also made it an edible source to obtain a buzz. There was a lot of anticipation for this party, because we had been talking it up on campus for a couple of weeks. We really didn’t know how it would turn out though and our main concern was would anybody show up. As the time arrived for the festivities to begin, we became more concerned, because nobody was knocking at our door. However, about an hour after the designated start time our worries disappeared and party goers started to arrive in bunches. Needless to say that first party turned out to be epic and is one my favorite college memories.

I named my company “Fete”, because it translates to “party” in French, which was the basis of my core business when I launched 17 years a go. Since then, I’ve hosted numerous events. Some have been small scale and many have been large gatherings. My experiences in throwing parties have taught me a few things about what makes a great event and I will share my secrets on the elements that will help you woo your guests.
