Describe what it’s like raising two Black young boys in Chicago today, and how you’re forming a deep connection and bond with them.

It's tough because it's not the same city as when I grew up. Living on 82nd and Sangamon for the first 10 years of my life was great. We were allowed to go to Foster Park on our bikes and play all over the neighborhood. I don't feel comfortable letting my boys go around by themselves because I'm an overprotective father. I know it's not realistic to be this way long term but I'm working on giving them more rope as they get older. I've bonded with them so much that I'm the one that is going to have to make a serious adjustment when they go to college which starts next year for my oldest.
