You’re now a family man with a new wife and puppy, how do you approach business differently now than when you had different responsibilities?
It has been a challenge for me because I’m such a grinder by nature. Balancing and prioritizing is paramount. When it comes to everything in my life, I have a plan and I execute that plan. Part of the exercise through marriage is not treating my family like a team. The challenge is that I have had so much success with the team approach, and it applies to so many areas. Finding those elements in that team philosophy of winning that can be implemented in the family dynamic to allow you as a family to win has been key. Learning the lessons of what, from the team dynamic, works for my family, and then also what doesn’t work as it relates to managing and building a family.
It's been an interesting part of my journey that is still new and unfolding.
