brain are constantly filled with new and evolving ideas about our eternal love and legacy and how to honor that lifelong journey. I usually discuss a big vision or concept with my team, my Executive Director and some of our ambassadors who have incredible insight and expertise on how to bring things to life. We definitely all have our different strengths and that makes us an incredible team,
but the one similarity we all
carry with us is a genuine passion for helping to create comfort and connection- so everything passes through our creative minds and moves to an actionable process only after it goes through that filter of whole-heartedness. Staying organized and connecting with leaders in the space helps us to optimize our reach and impact. As we grow, we strategically partner with like-minded organizations that embrace our ethos and want to collaborate and integrate Together at Peace into their bereavement care initiatives.
How has your leadership been impacted by the people you serve?
I am impacted and inspired by
the people we serve- Love is the unique imprint on each heart, making grief the most unique and personal journey anyone can experience and rarely put into words. Creating something comforting and hopeful for the world by leaning on my heart’s imprint feels scary at times because I know that the complexities surrounding each loss are innumerable. Still, at the core of our souls, our unconditional love for each other is an unspoken truth we all share. Each story shared with Together at Peace adds to the bucket of love and resilience for the world. My heart truly overflows with gratitude for each and every person that shares their story. Our smiles and tears… pain and peace are woven together to create a
comforting fabric of hope to wrap around each other.
Let's talk about your first TAPF luncheon and what went into that day...
