It quickly became her passion to find tangible ways to celebrate hard anniversaries and holidays with her family. She wanted her children to grow up knowing his spirit, even if they had not known him, feeling grateful that his love surrounded them instead of only feeling sad that his body was gone.
Over the years, she created philanthropic projects and hosted events with family and friends to create community, honoring all of our loved ones who have passed away... this is where Together at Peace started.
She saw a gap in hopeful bereavement and in 2023 created the foundation. Together At Peace Foundation is a place to connect and to inspire others to share the light that still shines in their lives and spread it too.
Last year you had so much forward progress tell us about the vision:
Reflecting on the past year, the vision to inspire and support hopeful bereavement care for the world was an extraordinary journey that surpassed my greatest expectations. The opportunity to bring our vision to fruition was a complex effort requiring a delicate balance of flexibility and focus. This period was our ‘building’ phase, where, limited only by our imagination, the duality of inspiration and challenge was constant. The undertaking felt overwhelming at times as we discovered the ‘need’ to be substantial and the focus to generate financial support quickly became apparent for us to move forward. Providing a full circle of compassionate bereavement care and spiritual resilience for our donors, our initiatives, our partners, and the world was going to take the collaboration of the world.
The vision informed every decision, whether we were designing a new comforting product, forging partnerships with charities, or organizing 'Memory Meals.' Our passion was always to cultivate a hopeful, uplifting sense of comfort and community. In every part of the foundation, we want there to be meaningful ways to embrace, commemorate, and spread the unique love that endures after the loss of a loved one. And of course, always doing good in their honor.
