Covid-19 and keep everyone healthy and safe. Whether it’s a 60-inch flat panel or a miniature iPad more people are glued to their screens scrolling through Nextflix. Prime Video, Hulu, and HBO Max trying to find the next good series to binge watch. Not to be out done, the traditional networks are still popular as people continue to watch their favorite shows and regardless the streaming service or network you choose on any given night, there is a sure bet that a reality TV series is on that platform.

Arguably the most popular reality television series in the past ten to fifteen years has been The Real Housewives. It all started with The Real Housewives of Orange County, and the success of that show resulted in numerous spin-off series located in New York City, Atlanta, New Jersey, D.C., Beverly Hills, Miami, Potomac, Dallas and most recently Salt Lake City. The series document the lives of upper-class women who lead glamorous lives in their respective cities. For the most part these women have been friends or acquaintances and during each episode come together to indulge in life’s finer things such as dining, shopping, yachting, skiing, partying, and of course drinking, which sometimes lead to gossiping and a lot of drama. Just like any reality television series it’s fair to say that the drama is really what keeps viewers tuning in week after week and sometimes trigger thoughts of whether what we’re watching is truly real? While some viewers may think that a lot of the drama is manufactured by producers of the show, there is no doubt that some of the women are real bad asses. In a good way. And one of those real bad ass women is Meredith Marks from the new Salt Lake City series (RHOSLC).
