Andrew To the Mic

ecember may have been the
hardest month I’ve ever endured
in my life. Granted 2020 was no
cake walk for anyone. I found myself facing trying times dealing with loss, and discomfort with physical and mental health.
One evening in December I was scrolling across Instagram and stumbled upon a singer’s page. I clicked on it and found, Andrew to The Mic, a local singer from Chicago.
I listened intently as he poured his heart out into every word of his songs. I realized he was doing covers of famous songs such as Whitney Houston’s, I Will Always Love You and modern-day work of Leroy Sanchez.
