emBorrow, which officially launched in December, is a tech company focused on providing those seeking fertility services with not only financing, but a community of emotional and educational support. Something that was lacking when Deutschle went through 3 rounds of egg freezing in her mid-30s and now 7 rounds of IVF in two years. Among friends and law colleagues, she has become a viable source in ‘what to expect’ when questions around fertility or specific treatments come up…but wouldn’t it be fantastic that prior to embarking on a fertility journey, patients could be provided resources that offer a better understanding of the process as well as peace of mind?
Now they can with emBorrow.
Deutschle and her team provide users with installment plans to help cover the costs of fertility treatments, but also help educate those
going through the process,
including the
administration of
medications, monitoring,
retrieval, possible side
effects, emotions, physical
response to treatment, and
so much more. They have a
network of physicians on
hand for support as well as
a community of people
who have undergone
similar procedures and are
available to share
information. “Many have no
idea what to expect and for
first-timers, there are often
a million questions,”
explains Deutschle.
“emBorrow is a way to
connect to other women
or experts so that advice,
instruction or support can
be shared.” As an
“emBorrower,” you are
never alone in your
journey.
If you live in the Chicago
area and want more
information about
emBorrow, they will host a Fertility & Wellness event on Saturday, February 28th from 2pm-4pm in Highland Park, IL.
