Writers, Directors, Actors, and film critics, all descended upon Park City Utah for the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. Founded in 1981 by Robert Redford, Sundance Institute is a nonprofit organization that provides and preserves the space for artists in film, theatre, and media to create and thrive.
Stars graced red-carpet movie premieres as their films and documentaries were watched, critiqued, and voted on by movie goers. FLM resident film critic Pamela Powell was in the mix interviewing actors, writers, and directors as well as covering all of the exclusive parties that Park City, Utah had to offer over the two-week period. Check out her Sundance recap and interviews in this month’s issue.
The Sundance Film Festival and other public programs connect audiences and artists to ignite new ideas, discover original voices, and build a community dedicated to independent storytelling.
