hese knights-of-the-round-
table groups, often with 20-50
members, are curated peer-to-
peer mentoring programs consisting of industry leaders and innovators. They are generally created and facilitated by well-known thought leaders who have achieved real accomplishments in their own right. It is important to note that mastermind groups are not about networking. Rather, they are the recognition that the collective experience of fellow titans is invaluable in guiding us to our next professional and even personal space. In other words, it does not have to be lonely at the top. Also unlike regular networking, well-run masterminds produce incredible results but demand a lot in return. They require members to make the intellectual, time, and also emotional commitment necessary for full participation. Some of the meetings and calls are mandatory, and each member’s full engagement is necessary to realize the full potential of the group as a whole. This model is the only way to fully realize the potential of a mastermind group.
