Every year when the Oscars comes around do you dream of the glitz and glamour? I’ll admit it. Most of us live a pretty average life. So when the stars come out it’s always fun to imagine yourself as one of those lucky Hollywood celebrities. Perhaps you dream of being that gorgeous starlet in a stunning Oscar del la Renta gown strutting down the red carpet. You stop to strike a pose for the camera. Give ‘em your good side. Of course you’re smiling…maybe because you’re thinking about that expensive swanky swag-bag at the end of the night. Last year’s bag was worth $168,000. Talk about the ultimate goody bag! Or maybe your dream is to be that smokin’ hot famous director that walks up on stage and proudly accepts his Oscar for being named Best Director of a feature film. Then you gracefully read off your list of thank you’s but do it in an English accent and sound really suave.

It's a big night. It's a big night for the actors and directors. It's a big night for camera people. It's a big night for hairdressers and fashionistas. It's a big night for everyone watching. If you could be part of the Oscars, what role would you enjoy most? For me, I’d want to be Randy Thomas. You're saying, “Who is Randy Thomas?”She's been the voice of the Oscars for many years. She's the one who makes the big announcements live. She introduces the stars on stage. You know the introduction I mean … “Welcome back, to the 75th Annual Academy Awards!” To me, that's what I would love to do. I think it has to be one of the most exciting parts of the show. You’re the maestro, the director, the glue that holds the show together and makes everything flow. It would be thrilling to create a truly exciting night simply by the sound of your voice. So I’ll sit back and watch the Oscars and live vicariously through whoever gets that interesting gig this year. Enjoy the show!
