Without appetite. Without expectation. It’s genuine. It’s emotional. It’s affirming. When a friend tells you that you look incredible, you believe her. When another woman stops you and asks where something is from, it lands differently. It’s not validation — it’s recognition.
And for me, nothing tops getting dressed for my daughters.
I have teenage girls watching me every day — not just what I wear, but how I wear it. Whether I wear things with pride. Whether I shrink myself. Whether I apologize for confidence. Whether I dress like I deserve to be seen.
And when they look at me and say, “Mom, you look so good”, that’s the highest compliment of all.
Not because it’s about appearance — but because it’s about example.
It tells me I’m showing them what it looks like to own your presence. To dress boldly. To feel unapologetically feminine. To experiment. To evolve. To not dress for permission — but for joy.
December fashion reflects all of that.
