JACKIE: Can there ever be enough written and said about JFK and his assassination? Hollywood doesn’t think so. Natalie Portman portrays Jacqueline Kennedy as she recounts the assassination of her husband. The film paints a very different picture of this iconic first lady as she talks candidly with the journalist (Billy Crudup), editing and demanding total control of the final product. Portman, sounding a little too Marilyn Monroe-ish, otherwise does a fine job in her depiction of Jackie supported by a strong story that continues to intrigue history buffs and cinephiles alike.
