7.) Staycation
A really fun thing to do, especially in a big city, is to get a hotel room and plan fun activities for the weekend. If you live in a small town, maybe plan a day trip to a town or bigger city near you that has tons of things to do. Spending a night or two away from your bed can kind of make you feel like a tourist. But there’s something to be said about ordering room service, going swimming or taking advantage of spa services in a hotel. Even though you’re in your own backyard, you and your guy can still have an adventurous time enjoying each others company.
8.) Throwback Framed Photo
I love the idea of calling on your man’s family and friends to find fun, interesting and maybe silly photos of him from back in the day. Avoid the typical high school senior picture day photo and strive for something more substantive. Think adorable kid, high school sports action hero, college spring break, or post college first day on the job photos. This could actually turn into an annual fun tradition, because every photo has a story and let’s face it, we all like to share our story.
