How do you hope Zach’s legacy will live on through your work?
By sharing Zach's story, I hope his legacy will live on by inspiring those who need help to get help. I have had people reach out to me and say " I was in a really dark place, but because you shared your brother's story, I got help." That's what I want Zach's legacy to be. I hope his story will continue to break down the stigma and remind people they’re not alone in their struggles. He was only on this earth for 20 years and had so much more life ahead of him, but I hope his life will continue to raise awareness, encourage open dialogue, and inspire others to seek help before it’s too late
Ten years from now, what changes would you love to see in how America?
approaches mental health awareness and support
I’d love to see a world where mental health is treated with the same urgency and compassion as physical health. I want mental health support to be accessible to everyone, no matter your background, zip code, or income. I hope schools, workplaces, and communities will have more resources and open conversations that normalize mental health care, so no one feels ashamed or afraid to ask for help.
