What inspired you to create FAIR BLVD?
It started with a question: Can fashion be beautiful and still do good? I was working in luxury branding in Europe and saw how disconnected the industry was from the source—the people who actually make the things we wear. I wanted to create a brand where the artistry, history, and humanity behind a piece were just as important as how it looked.
Your designs incorporate a lot of indigenous craftsmanship. How do those partnerships work?
Respectfully and collaboratively. I never treat artisans as a trend or a resource—I see them as partners. We co-create. Every motif, stitch, or silhouette has a story, and it’s my job to help tell it in a way that honors its origins and brings it into a new light.
What does “luxury” mean to you now?
Real luxury is meaning. It’s knowing that your piece was made by human hands, not machines. That it took time. That it’s rooted in something bigger than you. It’s not fast or flashy—it’s soulful.
