Stay Away From Stuffy
The opposite of effortless is stuffy. Although preppy and grandma chic had their time to shine, the effortless vibe that we’re all hoping to emulate takes ease and comfort. Add a messy tuck, a symmetrical sweater over your shoulder, or a shoved sleeve to take a too stuffy look to a more cool girl energy. You don’t want to look too perfect.
What to add to make this work? A few great oversized layers that can be worn multiple ways. Think button downs and loose knit sweaters.
