Need a Match?

Then Find a Maker

Q&A with Tammi Pickle

What is a Matchmaker?

I help professionals meet each other. I meet, screen, interview and background search all of my clients. I have a database of thousands of clients with nationwide and international offices.

How does it work when you first meet clients?

I meet all clients personally. I get to know each and every person in detail. I talk to them about themselves, their past, hobbies, lifestyle and I go into detail about the type of person they are wanting to meet.

How are matches made?

After getting to know each person and based on their likes and dislikes I come up with ideas of who would be a good fit for that person. Then I show profiles and photos and get approval from both clients that they are both interested in meeting each other. I then set up the date for the two of them, typically I set up a dinner date and exchange their numbers with each other.

What happens after the date?

We get feedback from our clients after all matches. We are then able to share all feedback with both clients. This feedback is so helpful because sometimes after a first date you don’t know what the other person is thinking or feeling about you. We are able to be the middleman encouraging two people to meet again or letting someone down gently that the other person may not be interested in continuing a romantic relationship with them. So, either they continue to see each other, or I start working on additional matches and I just make one after the next until I find them the right one.

How is a matchmaker different than app or online dating?

Using a matchmaker is a safe and effective way of meeting other professionals that are looking for serious and committed relationships. We as matchmakers pre-screen and verify authenticity by meeting everyone personally, checking ID’s and doing background searches on each and every person we work for.
